Platform No. 5 has been showcasing antiques, fine art, collectibles, vintage and retro treasure plus oddities since 2016. It’s created a strong, positive reputation when it comes to selling quality, eclectic wares in an enjoyable regional setting. 

Phillip Parsonson is the co-owner and store manager of Platform No. 5, taking over the helm from the store’s founder Antun Davick in late 2018. 

With a wealth of experience in everything-collectible, Phillip works with all styles of vintage wares, but also enjoys focusing on timeworn Asian pieces, quirky industrial and advertising treasures from the past, and quality artwork and handmade items.

Phillip’s interest in the ‘collectiblity’ of beautiful objects takes us back to the 70s, when he started in business among Melbourne’s thriving and exciting antique trade. 

Sharing his passion, his wife Jacqui Mott joins him at Platform No.5 as together they continue the legacy this treasured destination brings, for the benefit of all who love to discover and purchase something handcrafted and something painterly, something repurposed.
